Exilis is used for the rapid and non-invasive treatment of skin firmness and fat deposits for reshaping the face, neck and body. Through a special monopolar radiofrequency combined with high-frequency ultrasound, Exilis acts in a targeted manner on both the face and other areas of the entire body. Through Exilis it is possible to dissolve fat deposits and at the same time stimulate the collagen fibres in the skin through their contraction. Particularly effective for firming and rejuvenating the skin, it is also used with obvious benefits against cellulite, imperfections caused by localised fat deposits and skin laxity in general. The advantages of Exilis over other treatments are certainly its practicality, the absence of recovery periods and side effects, which are certainly more present and important with more invasive alternatives. Its use is often associated with other methods so as to obtain synergy of action against the most resistant blemishes.
How it works
Exilis® is a device that combines the thermal energy developed by radiofrequency with the mechanical energy of ultrasound for a dual action on the skin. Thanks to its two integrated handpieces, one specifically designed for the face, the other dedicated to the body, it provides an optimal treatment for each area to be treated:
- Facial handpiece: ideal for forehead, eye contour, cheeks, lip contour, chin, neck and décolleté. It can help improve small wrinkles, fine expression lines, but above all is indicated for skin laxity.
- Body handpiece: suitable for the abdomen, hips, buttocks, back, arms, inner thighs and knees. Can be used to treat mild to moderate localised fat deposits and for skin firming and reshaping.
Frequently Asked Questions
The number of sessions is variable and certainly depends on the blemish, its severity and the size of the area to be treated. On average, after the first two sessions, usually scheduled weekly, the first improvements are already evident.
The treatment is painless, causing only the perception of a slight localised heat that quickly disappears after the session.
The treatment is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding and if you have metal implants, metal prostheses, defibrillators or pacemakers.
The area to be treated must be clean, free of creams, lotions, jewellery or accessories.
The area may be slightly red and warm to the touch, but this condition disappears spontaneously within a few hours without leaving any marks.
