What is it for
Venus Viva technology is applied in a non-invasive manner to improve skin texture, elasticity and tone, but also to treat and attenuate some of the most common imperfections such as enlarged skin pores, superficial wrinkles, scars of any kind and stretch marks. Aesthetic treatment with Venus Viva can affect the entire face or only specific areas, it can be extended to the neck and décolleté, but can also be applied to all areas of the body, such as the abdomen, back, chest, breasts, arms, legs, knees and buttocks. The versatility and customisation possibilities of the Venus Viva™ treatment are among its most distinctive features, as are the control and calibration possibilities that allow it to act in a targeted, balanced and adaptive manner on each type of skin according to the problem detected.
How it works
It works through fractional radiofrequency, producing electromagnetic waves that provoke epidermal micro-lesions, thus stimulating tissue regeneration with corresponding collagen production. Venus Viva's special technology uses SmartScan™ Nanofractional Radiofrequency, which allows full control of ablation, coagulation and resurfacing procedures, to treat even the most difficult skin imperfections and problems with maximum effectiveness. The NANOFRAZIONED RF™ applicator is specifically designed for skin resurfacing and the patented technology of the PINs, the applicator tips, emit up to 700 pulses per second. Each PIN distributes energy in a delimited area (150 x 20 microns) with a variable density, thus reducing the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) and maintaining a sufficient portion of intact tissue around each treated area for a faster repair process, smoother results after treatment and minimal recovery time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Depending on the objectives, the area to be treated, its extent and the severity of the blemishes, 4 to 6 sessions are needed, which are scheduled about 4 weeks apart.
It cannot be used in areas where there is inflammation, infection or open wounds. In case of herpes, antiviral prophylaxis must be started before and continued after treatment. Also contraindicated in cases of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
No. Sometimes a slight heat may be felt. In rare cases, it is necessary to apply anaesthetic cream because the skin is particularly sensitive.
The treated area appears reddened and, when viewed closely, hundreds of tiny scabs can be seen, a direct effect of the nanofractional action of the device. The redness usually resolves within a couple of days, the effect of slightly rough skin to the touch lasting less than a week.
The results are evident from the very first session, but repeated sessions intensify the effects from time to time.
