Dr Ugolini specialized in dermatology in November 2008 and since then he immediately began freelance practice at several medical practices in the province of Varese, Milan, Como and Novara. Since 2015 he has also been operating in Lugano at Samsara Medical Center, in Canton Ticino (CH), and since January 2021 in Gallarate, at the Skin Medical Center practice of which he is also Medical Director.

Curriculum

Dr Marco Ugolini obtained the Maturità Scientifica at the Liceo Scientifico Statale in Gallarate (VA) in 1998 with a grade of 60/60. Subsequently, he devoted himself to the study of medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Insubria where he obtained a degree in Medicine in September 2004 with a grade of 110/110 cum laude with a dissertation entitled "New therapeutic techniques in the treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloids" (supervisor Chiar.mo Prof. Nicola Zerbinati). Subsequently obtained the Professional Qualification, which was achieved in the II session of the state examination of the year 2004. With consequent registration in the Medical Association of Varese since 01/03/2005 No. 6367. He finally obtained his specialization in Dermatology and Venereology in November 2008 at the Dermatology Clinic of the Azienda Ospedaliera Maggiore della Carità di Novara - Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale with a grade of 70/70 cum laude under the guidance of Char.mi Prof. Giorgio Leigheb and Prof. Enrico Colombo. Dr. Ugolini's field of interest ranges in Dermatology across the board, from the prevention and screening of skin cancers to the diagnosis of inflammatory, acute and chronic dermatological diseases, medical trichology and cosmetic dermatology in all its facets. Extremely scrupulous and attentive to listening to the patient, Dr. Ugolini is sensitive to the theoretical and technological innovations that affect his professional field, seeking to offer his patients the most up-to-date and competent service possible, conducting his work with the same determination that has enabled him to achieve the brilliant results that have characterized his entire course of study. He had the good fortune and pleasure to have as his mentorClear Prof. Nicola Zerbinati, a Dermatologic Surgeon and international expert in dermatologic laser therapy who passed on to him his passion for Dermatology and dermatologic lasers.

  • is in charge of the outpatient service of Dermatology, Aesthetic Medicine and Dermatological Surgery at the Nursing Home "Le Terrazze" in Cunardo (VA);
  • is in charge of the Dermatology, Dermatologic Day Surgery and Laser Therapy service at the private Nursing Home "Gruppo Iseni Sanità" in Lonate Pozzolo (VA);
  • is a member of SITRI (Italian Society of Trichology);
  • is member FMH (Swiss Medical Federation);
  • is a member of AIDA (Italian Association of Ambulatory Dermatologists);
  • is a member of ISPLAD (International-Italian Society of Plastic Aesthetic and Oncologic Dermatology);

  • has more than 50,000 outpatient specialist visits to his credit and more than 4,000 dermosurgical procedures conducted as a primary care provider (figure updated to January 2021);
  • is actively involved in clinical dermatology, oncology, preventive and therapeutic dermatology, aesthetic medicine, laser therapy.

    Sole speaker at Workshop having as topic the aesthetic treatment of the face by fractionated CO2 laser at the "International Congress of Aesthetic and Antiaging Medicine" held in Dubai (UEA) on November 29-December 1, 2008.
  • SIDEMAST Congress on Aesthetic Medicine, Pavia, Cascina Scova March 20-21, 2009 with the paper "Nail Dermosurgery."
  • Speaker on Fractional CO2 Laser in the field of dermatology and aesthetics at the IX International Congress of Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine - Warsaw, 26-27/09/2009
  • Gave refresher lectures as a lecturer at the Agora School of Aesthetic Medicine in Milan on the following topics: Laserlipolysis, Cryotherapy in Aesthetics, Fractional CO2 Laser.
