Localised fat: how to eliminate it?

First of all, one must understand the difference between localised fat and body weight: reducing the former does not necessarily mean losing weight!

Localised fat consists of fat deposits in specific areas of the body, such as culotte de cheval, belly, inner thighs, arms, hips, double chin... and cannot be eliminated by dieting and training, especially if you are not overweight. Diet and training serve to lose weight, that is, to reduce body weight, but the areas where your body tends to accumulate more fat will always be 'rounder' than the rest, even if you lose kg.

Why does fat accumulate in specific areas of the body?

Let us first consider genetics, which influences the way fat is distributed on our body. Sex also influences fat accumulation: in men, testosterone prevails, which predisposes to accumulation in the waist area; in women, oestrogen prevails, which predisposes to fat accumulation in the lower limbs.

So how is it eliminated?

Nutrition is the basis for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and reducing the accumulation of body fat, but localised fat can only be eliminated with specific treatments for it or with surgery.

At Samsara Medical Centre we treat him with the Lipo-lytic Protocol, specifically for body remodelling. Within the protocol we customise different machines in synergy with each other, such as cryolipolysis, Hifu, etc., to achieve the best results.
