Filler: what is the difference between hyaluronic acid and Radiesse

Hyaluronic acid fillers are a widely used method for restoring volume and proportion in the field of aesthetic medicine.

An alternative to consider is calcium hydroxypatite, marketed as Radiesse, which can play a dual role as a filler, but Dr Ugolini prefers to dilute it and use it as a collagen stimulator. Its efficacy in inducing collagen production is particularly remarkable and proves useful in situations where the goal is not only to add volume, but also to promote a collagen production process that manifests itself over the following months. This result offers greater elasticity to the treated tissues.

Particularly suitable for the middle and lower third of the face, Radiesse has the advantage that it does not cause swelling and fits naturally into already well-proportioned faces.
