Lip fillers: the most frequently asked questions

How much product is used in one session?

The amount of lip filler varies from person to person and depends on the goals (but certainly never more than one ampoule per session, often less). Our priority is to maintain/restore volume harmony in order to achieve natural results. This is why we tailor each treatment to your specific needs.

Is it painful?

The lip filler procedure causes only slight discomfort, but we use anaesthetic cream and ice to make the treatment more comfortable. Your comfort is important to us.

Can I use the same vial of hyaluronic acid on other areas of my face?

Hyaluronic acid is a versatile beauty ally. However, we recommend customising the treatment for each facial area to obtain the best results in harmony with your physiognomy.

Does it leave bruises?

Some light bruising may occur, but this is temporary and can easily be covered with make-up. Most patients can return to daily activities immediately after treatment.

How often should the treatment be repeated?

The duration of results varies from person to person, but generally lip fillers last from 6 to 12 months. With repeated sessions, the result becomes more and more stable over time, requiring fewer and fewer 'touch-ups'. The treatment can be repeated when you see fading results.

Can I have lips like that famous person whose photo I brought?

Customisation is the key. We want to help you achieve authentic beauty that is unique to you, rather than replicating a celebrity appearance. Natural results and harmony with your face are what we strive for.

Can I save what is left over from a vial for a second session?

No, the vial once opened is subject to the risk of bacterial contamination, so using already opened vials is extremely risky and above all not recommended at all.
